POTA Activation, March 21!

We going to do a Parks On The Air (POTA) activation on Saturday, March 21, at the top of L Street. We are planning to operate from Noon until 5PM. This is inside the Stoddard Wells Off Highway Vehicle Special Use BLM Area, US-12957.

We will be setting up portable stations to operate on various bands and modes. Please try to attend.

If you cannot attend, please listen for us and contact us! We will be using the club call, WA6TST, and will have a VHF/UHF station on FM. Our site will have coverage of the Barstow area such that anyone with an HT or mobile should be able to contact us. Listen for us on 146.520 and .550, and 446.000.

Club POTA Activation, March 21

Mark your calendar! The club is planning a POTA activation of the Stoddard Valley OHV Area on Saturday, March 21. Details are still being worked out and final planning will take place at the March BARC club meeting, March 12, 7PM, at the American Legion.
